Durante o mês de dezembro, o Grupo Liberatos reforçou o seu compromisso com a responsabilidade social ao promover uma série especial de cinco programas de rádio dedicados à educação em saúde, no âmbito da iniciativa “Vamos Falar de Saúde”. A acção integrou-se no mês de conscientização sobre o HIV e teve como principal objectivo ampliar o acesso da população à informação qualificada sobre temas prioritários de saúde pública.
Ao longo das edições, foram abordados assuntos de elevada relevância para a comunidade da província da Huíla, incluindo o HIV e os seus desafios actuais, a tuberculose e a coinfecção, a hemofilia, a meningite e a pneumonia. Os programas contaram com a participação de profissionais de saúde experientes, que trouxeram esclarecimentos técnicos em linguagem acessível, contribuindo para a desmistificação de doenças, a redução do estigma e o incentivo à prevenção.
Um dos principais diferenciais da iniciativa foi a participação activa do público, que teve a oportunidade de interagir directamente com os especialistas convidados, colocando perguntas e partilhando preocupações reais do dia a dia. Promoting health literacy through the “Let’s Talk About Health” program
During the month of December, the Liberatos Group reinforced its commitment to social responsibility by promoting a special series of five radio programs dedicated to health education, as part of the “Let’s Talk About Health” initiative. The action was part of HIV awareness month and its main objective was to broaden the population’s access to qualified information on priority public health topics.
Throughout the broadcasts, highly relevant issues for the community of Huíla province were addressed, including HIV and its current challenges, tuberculosis and co-infection, hemophilia, meningitis, and pneumonia. The programs featured experienced health professionals who provided technical explanations in accessible language, contributing to the demystification of diseases, reduction of stigma, and encouragement of prevention.
One of the main distinguishing features of the initiative was the active participation of the public, who had the opportunity to interact directly with the invited experts, asking questions and sharing real day-to-day concerns.
