Prostate cancer is still a topic surrounded by taboos among the male population, which contributes to delays in diagnosis and an increase in mortality associated with the disease. Aiming to promote prevention and access to information, Grupo Liberatos carried out a series of educational programs on health over the course of a month, encouraging men to seek urological consultations and regular medical follow-ups.

During the programs, other types of cancer were also addressed, with an emphasis on digestive, bladder, brain, and central nervous system (CNS) cancers. The sessions included the participation of professionals from various health fields, including urologists, surgeons, nurses, and epidemiologists, who informed the public about risk factors, warning signs, early diagnosis, and treatment options.
